‘Meritorious services’: Sindh governor receives Nishan-i-Imtiaz
President Asif Ali Zardari conferred the award on Ebad.

Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad has been awarded Nishan-i-Imtiaz in recognition of his public service. Nishan-i-Imtiaz is the highest civilian honour conferred in Pakistan.
A ceremony was held at the Governor House on Monday where President Asif Ali Zardari conferred the award on Ebad. Federal ministers, including Rehman Malik, Naveed Qamar and Dr Farooq Sattar, parliamentarians, businessmen and others turned up at the event.
Sindh ministers Pir Mazharul Haq, Sharjeel Memon, and Syed Sardar Ahmed and special assistant to Sindh chief minister Sharmila Farooqi were also present.
