LAHORE: The leaderships of the Pakistan Muslim League (Likeminded) and Sunni Tehreek (ST) have demanded the federal government announce a date for the upcoming general elections and seek Pakistan Army’s help during the polls.

A high-powered Likeminded delegation, led by the party’s General Secretary Humayoun Akhtar Khan, and Provincial Information Secretary Mian Asif, met with SI leader Sarwat Ejaz Qadri on Monday, during which both sides agreed to finalise their seat adjustment deal soon.
