Utilising water resources: President calls for better management
Zardari was speaking at the inauguration of the Sea Water Desalination Plants for the people of Lyari and Kemari.

To utilise Pakistan’s water resources, President Asif Ali Zardari called for adoption of state-of the-art water conservation methods - especially in the agricultural sector and for treatment of sewerage water. He was speaking at the inauguration of the Sea Water Desalination Plants for the people of Lyari and Kemari and Phase 1 of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Drinking Water Programme of the Sindh Government, held on Friday. The projects will provide people clean drinking water so that they no longer depend on expensive water tankers, he said.
