Journalist gunned down in Balochistan
Jamshed Kharal was on board a bus to Punjab.

A journalist identified as Jamshed Kharal was gunned down in the Bolan district of Balochistan on Thursday, reported JournalismPakistan.
He was on board a bus en route to Punjab from Quetta which was intercepted by armed men.
According to reports, Kharal worked for a Quetta newspaper.
At least 17 journalists have been killed during the past three years in Balochistan.
Threats to the safety of journalists, especially those working in the conflict areas, are mounting.
Earlier, two journalists belonging to a local weekly newspaper were killed in a targeted attack.
The journalists, identified as Syed Tariq Hussain and Aslam Raja, were killed when unidentified men on a motorcycle opened fire on them near Saifee College.
