Three houses destroyed as mortars rain from the sky in Khyber agency
Two goats, a dozen chickens, one electricity transformer along with a water tank were destroyed.

Three houses were destroyed when several mortar shells fired from an unknown direction landed on in the troubled Shalobar area of Bara in Khyber Agency on Wednesday.
An official of the Khasadar forces said that the mortar shells fell on the house of Khalid Shah in Arjali area and destroyed the boundary wall. Two goats along with a dozen chickens were also killed.
The official added that more shells rained in Suhbat Dhand area of Shalobar where the house of former councillor Haji Ikhtiar Shah was damaged. The shells destroyed the boundary wall and a guestroom of Shah's house along with damaging an electricity transformer and water tank installed along the house. “The transformer blew up a huge bang when shell shrapnel hit it.”
One of the shells also landed on the house of Badshah. The house was completely destroyed though fortunately Badshah escaped harm since he was sitting outside.
Most of the residents of Sholabar have left their houses and have shifted to the Jalozai Camp while some others have shifted to Peshawar due to the ongoing military operation in the troubled area.
