New projects: Dhabeji station to be expanded

KARACHI:
A project to enhance the capacity of the pumping station in Dhabeji will begin from December 20 (today), said the managing director of Karachi Water and Sewerage Board, Misbahuddin Farid, on Wednesday.
According to Farid, the cost of the project is Rs1.28 billion and it will allow five more pumps to be installed at the pumping station.
The station currently has six phases which supply 550 million gallons of water to the city every day.
