Search operation: ‘Undeclared curfew’ in Sahlanda, Dakorak
ISPR spokesperson denies any restrictions were imposed.

An ‘undeclared curfew’ was imposed in areas between Sahlanda and Dakorak on Wednesday after the police launched an operation in connection to the murder of a local peace committee member the previous night.
Residents of Charbagh and Dakorak told The Express Tribune via telephone that the curfew has been imposed from 4pm on Wednesday till 7am the next morning. They said that movement on the main road that leads to upper Swat and Shangla District has been restricted and markets have been closed.
However, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Swat spokesperson, denied that a curfew has been imposed in the areas. He said people are free to carry out their activities and their movement has not been restricted.
A leader of the Manglawar Peace Committee, Sardar Allam, was shot by two masked motorcyclists at Salanda area of Manglawar on Tuesday night. He was taken to the Saidu Sharif Teaching Hospital, where he died of his injuries.
The condition of his friend, Sardar Hussain, who was also injured in the shooting, is stable.
