President Asif Ali Zardari Tuesday said that the government was alive to the problems being faced by the business community and industries including the energy crisis and was pursuing various corrective measures to meet the challenges.
He was addressing the business community at the 36th Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Export Trophy Awards ceremony, held at the Governor House.
He sought business community’s cooperation and support for ensuring continuity of economic policies being pursued in the country. “With your cooperation, we will have a better Pakistan tomorrow,” the president said.
Zardari appreciated the business community’s role in reviving and strengthening the country’s economy despite many challenges faced by the country over the last three years.
