Bilawal sends flowers to rape victim, vows action

Pledges to protect weak segments of society from all sorts of atrocities and violence.

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari sent a bouquet to six-year-old rape victim of Umerkot district, Vijenti who is admitted at the Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Hospital in Lyari.


In his message, Bilawal pledged to protect the weak segments of society from all sorts of atrocities and violence.


He directed the provincial government to provide assistance, including medical facilities, to the victim and her family and to take swift and stringent action against the culprits so that they can be punished for the inhumane crime.

Bilawal House Media Coordinator, Surendar Valasai handed over the bouquet and message on behalf of Chairman PPP.

Vijenti was kidnapped from Ghulam Nabi Shah town of Umerkot District in the first week of December, and was assaulted by culprits.

Karachi Division Information Secretary Lateef Mughal and former PPP MPA Engineer Gianchand Meghwar were also present on the occasion.
