LAHORE:

Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah on Saturday termed the NAB chairman’s statement that the Punjab government was responsible for 65 per cent of the corruption taking place in the PPP government, as “the worst lie in the history of Pakistan”.

He said that the NAB Chairman Fasih Bokhari had given the statement “either under pressure” or it was him trying to please his “masters” after his unlawful appointment. Sanaullah said it was the PPP government that was engaged in widespread corruption in Pakistan. Were the “pockets of pilgrims picked in the Punjab”, he asked the NAB chairman. He also gave the examples of other scandals like the NICL, the Bank of Punjab, the steel mills, the PIA and railways.

Admiral Bukhari has been picked up by Zardari on the recommendation of Malik Riaz. The nexus is clear!
