Threats: Letter with bullet for Dr Aafia’s sister
“I have received so many threatening calls before that I can’t even recall,” says Siddiqui.
KARACHI:
An envelope containing a bullet made its way to the clinic of Dr Fauzia Siddiqui, sister of Dr Aafia Siddiqui.
“We have been receiving calls for over a week at our clinic by someone who demands Rs1 million as extortion,” she said. “I have received so many threatening calls before that I can’t even recall,” she said. “This is [however] different because the person keeps on using the same number.” Dr Fauzia is a neurologist and runs a clinic with a fellow doctor in Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
