Undetermined circumstances: Health EDO, two others kidnapped
The EDO and his driver were abducted near the Kohat Tunnel.

An official of the health department and his driver and technician were kidnapped by unidentified assailants in Kohat on Wednesday.
A Lachi police official said that executive district officer (EDO) for health Dr Ashiq Saleem, his driver Javed and medical technician Attaullah (also general secretary of the DI Khan Paramedical Association) were travelling to DI Khan from Peshawar.
After passing through the Kohat Tunnel, he said that they were abducted with their car. According to Saleem’s family he contacted them last after passing the tunnel.
Chairman of the DI Khan All Pakistan Medical Employees Association Fida Hussain Baloch, DI Khan Paramedical Association President Abdul Ghafar and All Pakistan Clerics Association General Secretary Haji Abdu Rauf condemned the incident and demanded the government to make efforts for their safe recovery.
They threatened to launch a protest if their missing colleagues were not recovered immediately.
In another incident, a body of tribesman Zarak Khan Bhittani who had been kidnapped a few days ago was found in Tour Mandi, South Waziristan.
