House Raid: Proclaimed offender killed, three flee

City Jaranwala police killed a proclaimed offender in what they claimed was an encounter on Wednesday. Three of his accomplices fled, police said.
The station house officer said that the police raided a house in Muslim Town on a tip-off. He said when the police surrounded the house, four men started firing at them. The police shot back, killing one of them.
He was later identified as Ikram alias Ikra, a resident of Chak 355-GB. They said he was wanted by Jaranwala, Rodala Road and Landianwala police for robbery and abduction.
