Kareena happier after marriage: Farah Khan

The actor got married around two months ago.

MUMBAI:
Director Farah Khan, who has choreographed Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor for Dabangg 2’s song Fevicol Se, says Kareena seems to be happier after her wedding with actor Saif Ali Khan.

Farah and Kareena have worked together before, but the former feels their bonding became stronger while shooting for this song.

“Kareena’s bonding with me became pretty good after the song. She is also relaxed and is in a happier state after marriage. She is very hardworking as well,” Farah said on Tuesday.

Saif and Kareena have been together for the past five years but finally tied the knot at Saif’s ancestral home, Pataudi Palace, in Haryana on October 17, which was followed by a reception the next day.

Farah says both Kareena and actor Salman Khan, who is also in the film, were very supportive during the entire shoot; offering their full time and dedication.

“Kareena has put in a lot of effort. She rehearsed a lot for it. In fact, she let me do whatever I wanted for the costumes and look,” said the choreographer.

“Salman, on the other hand, was learning everything in one rehearsal. The shooting of the movie was over and the song was at the end, so everyone was relaxed. It was fun shooting in the end,” Farah added.

After Kareena’s song Halkat Jawaani, from Heroine became a hit, Farah wanted to give the actor a completely different look in the new song, Fevicol Se.

“Manish Malhotra and I were aware that she did Halkat Jawaani a few months before and we wanted to give her a different look. I wanted her to look a little mismatched and I also didn’t apply to much make up on her,” she said.

Farah is happy that the year 2012, has been an interesting one for her.

“The year 2012 was good. Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi, gave me good reviews and Fevicol Se has also become a hit. Ups and downs come every year, but overall, it was not a bad year,” she said.

Farah’s new film, Happy New Year, will go on floors next year and its leading lady is yet to be disclosed.
