Heath campaign: Polio eradication committee meets MQM
MQM reiterates its support to eradicate polio in Pakistan.
KARACHI:
The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) reiterated its support to eradicate polio in Pakistan in a meeting with MNA Dr Azra Pechuho and the committee for the eradication of polio on Monday. The polio delegation had met members of MQM in London recently and the party had assured them of their backing for the campaign. Dr Pechuho explained that the delegation was visiting the MQM again to further strengthen their support for the polio drive which kicks off on December 17. In a statement issued by MQM, the party guaranteed its support to Dr Pechuho and said that the party’s philanthropic arm, Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation, would assist in the campaign.
