Poll Preparations: Khosa wants new delimitation of constituencies

Prays to God for saving country from “tsunamis” as they represented chaos and annihilation, not peace.

DERA GHAZI KHAN:

Senior Advisor to Chief Minister Sardar Zulfiqar Khosa said on Monday that the Khosa tribe had been victimised during the delimitation of electoral constituencies in 2002.

Talking to the media at a ceremony held to distribute tractors among 345 farmers under the Chief Minister’s Green Tractor Scheme here, he said that the delimitation of constituencies should be done afresh according to the rules. He said that those who opposed the PML-N in the last 10 years were now trying to join it, but these opportunists must be rejected.

“I am thankful to Allah today that PML-N) is completely stable. We have no confrontations and differences within the party,” he said. He said from the head of the party to the worker, everyone had the same stance.

He prayed that God save the country from “tsunamis” as they represented chaos and annihilation, not peace.

Earlier, Khosa distributed 345 keys of green tractors among small farmers. Some 8,650 applications had been received, of which 7,785 had been forwarded for final draw.
