Urgent mail service: Pakistan Post to upgrade services
The addressees will have the facility of picking up such UMS from 9 am to 8.30 pm.
ISLAMABAD:
Pakistan Post in a bid to upgrade its services and bring them at par with international standards will launch Urgent Mail Service-Counter Collection (UMS-CC) in all the 83 General Post Offices (GPOs) across the country on December 15.
Under this facility the clients can book UMS articles as usual clearly telling the booking clerk that this UMS would be deliverable at the specified GPOs counter instead of delivery at the given address, said a press release.
The addressees will have the facility of picking up such UMS from 9 am to 8.30 pm. Pakistan Post is taking initiative of providing its customers the facility of collecting their UMS articles from the counters of any designated GPO.
