Political statements: Sharifs are above the law says Memon

“The Supreme Court’s verdict in the Asghar Khan case has proved that Nawaz had bulldozed the mandate of the masses.”

KARACHI:
The Sharif brothers appear to have the ultimate freedom in the country, as they have managed to get court injunctions in several cases against them, including those related to corruption, tax evasion and money laundering. These views were expressed by Sindh information minister and Pakistan Peoples Party’s central deputy secretary information, Sharjeel Memon, on Sunday. “The Supreme Court’s verdict in the Asghar Khan case has proved that Nawaz Sharif rigged elections and bulldozed the mandate of the masses.” There are many instances that demonstrate that both Nawaz and Shahbaz Sharif are considered above the law in the country, opined Memon.
