Rs1.5 million award for snooker champion Asif: PM
Prime Minister Ashraf announces a monetary award for Muhammad Asif and offers him a job of his choice.

Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Saturday announced a Rs1.5 million reward for the Pakistani cueist Muhammad Asif, who won the IBSF World Amateur Snooker Championship.
The prime minister, while addressing a public gathering in Faisalabad, especially met Asif on the stage to award him the cheque.
Asif, a resident of Faisalabad, defeated England's Gary Wilson in the final to win the championship on December 2 in Bulgaria.
Ashraf was also offered Asif a job of his choice.
"Whosoever will bring laurels to the country, we will be happy for their patronage," he said.
