Presidential reference filed in SC over IHC judges case
13 questions have been raised in the 31-pages-long presidential reference.

The presidential reference pertaining to Islamabad High Court (IHC) judges’ appointments was submitted in the Supreme Court on Friday, Express News reported.
Thirteen questions have been raised in the 31-pages-long presidential reference. Also submitted with it were other documents comprising 19 pages.
Questions cover the appointment of judges, the judicial commission and the parliamentary committee and their roles under the Constitution.
The government had earlier sought two weeks time from the SC for filing the presidential reference, maintaining it needed legal opinion over issues pertaining to the appointments of Islamabad High Court (IHC) judges.
