Get the look: Accessories for the win

Actor Raveena Tandon arrived at the World Compassion Day press conference in this trendy outfit and some tasteful accessories. Here’s how to get this must-mimic black and white look:

Hair

Raveena’s hair falls in soft curls in a gorgeous chocolate brown colour over her shoulders.  In order to achieve a similar look, get your hair blow dried and styled with a medium round brush. One colour in your hair looks elegant and sophisticated.

Make-up

Her eyes are rimmed with black kohl and her cheeks bronzed, complemented the natural lip colour. We recommend using Mac black eye-pencil in Smoulder (Rs2,395) Maybelline bronzer (Rs1,050) and Color Studio’s Runway lipstick (Rs450).

 Outfit

Underneath Raveena’s her black and white drape, she’s wearing a black tank top and tights. For a drape similar to hers, your best option would be to get one tailor made or pick up a monotone tunic from Sonya Battla. For a black tank top, go to Mango (Rs1,500). Get a pair of black tights from Khaadi (Rs1,200).

Accessories

Raveena wore an oversized statement necklace with gold edges. Visit any local costume jewelry store for a cheaper statement necklace or get one from Accessorize (Rs2,000).  She’s also carrying a small black Bottega Veneta clutch, which we love! If you can’t afford to splurge on a Bottega, get a black clutch from Debenhams (Rs3,000). Small ear studs and a chunky silver bangle are bringing her two-toned outfit alive.

Shoes

At the event, Raveena wore two-inch high peep toe heels in black with a small bow at the front. You can find a similar pair at Charles and Keith or Vincci (Rs5,000).
