He also mentioned that a highly qualified faculty, including 15 PhDs, had been appointed by the university.

KARACHI:

The Sindh Madressatul Islam University (SMIU) interviewed 307 students seeking admissions to its five departments on Wednesday.

The university currently offers courses in the business administration, media studies, environmental studies, education and computer science departments. According to the university’s vice chancellor, Dr Muhammad Ali Shaikh, SMIU will induct 30 students in each department this year, however, the number of seats offered, as well as, the number of departments will be increased next year.

He also mentioned that a highly qualified faculty, including 15 PhDs, had been appointed by the university.
