Raids: 23 arrested over weekend

FAISALABAD: Police arrested twenty three suspects in various raids over Saturday and Sunday. Inspector Aamir Waheed, PRO to the City Police Officer (CPO), said on Monday said that 12 illegal weapon holders, eight drug peddlers, two proclaimed offenders and one court absconder had been arrested. Police recovered 1.225kg of hashish, 215g of heroin, one liquor bottle, seven 0.30 bore pistols, four shotguns, one revolver and 15 bullets from their possession, he said.
