Either way, (virtual) blood has been shed on the Twitter front, with supporters of the PML-N trying to make their party-centered hashtag stand out against the onslaught of online PTI supporters and PML-N critics.
Till the writing of this report, the trend bashing the PML-N led the debate in terms of sheer amount of tweets generated.

I support N because Pakistani rupee always retained its value during its tenures. On the other hand, Pakistani ten rupee note became as low as a one rupee in Ppp's first tenure, then a hundred rupee note became worthless during its second tenure and now a thousand rupee currency note is as worthless as never before.ppp has always been a curse for the country. On the contrary, N is sincere and patriotic. So far whatever good has been done in the country,it was only done by the N. and no other party.
@ali: That dunya poll was fraud with selected Lahore colleges female students took part.
the hash tag #IdontSupportPMLN is on top again its Money VS Passion biased report by ET
I think you missed the first trend. #IslamAhmadiyya
Waiting for an article on that as well =D
We have been trending it and it is the top trend even now. Remember: #IdontSupportPMLN is a hashtag that all parties r using odr than #PMLN while only #PMLN is tweeting #WeSupportPMLN and still the latter one is om top. We defeated a negative trend. Even on twitter it was #PMLN vs Rest and even there we emerged as winners.
i support pmln
Great PML-N supporters have learnt how to use twitter finally.
It is ironic that even this has to be debated, after we had seen so much. Sometime I feel we as a nation r suffering amnesia. We are need to be reminded again n again what we went through. Thanks to media none of the guilty will ever b accounted. Media knows the art of bringing everything to square one.
Definitely we support PMLN. Now PTI graph is falling and youth is looking towards PMLN. As shown by various polls. A recent survey conducted by Dunya news, where 78% of total 2000 participants vote for PMLN and only 18% voted for PTI.
We have N as it conducted it self. Zia dismissed Junejo govt and three provincial govt too except NS in Punjab. Then he had gentleman like Junejo physically assaulted in Khushab and later himself became Punjjab Cm and refused to extend protocol to BB.Later Asghar Beg case.Meanwhile their industry grew of proportion and as per them paid indirect taxes in Billion. As we know such taxes become part of cost and are included in their price.Whereas their direct taxes remain in few taxes. In first tenure, they imported yellow cab 3000$ a piece whereas BD imported same as 1000$ per car,He fought with Ishaq Khan,Justice Sajjad, assaulted SC,got resignation from JK and when wanted another Butt to take over was shown the door.Could not fave tribulation and thru KSA wrote 10 years Maafi Nama and established again steel business. In UK ,HN showed 2 Billion business and but still posted losses so that to earn refund....What has been their performance and is not because of deserters they could manage some majority in Punjab. If this is N conduct in past in minuscule why any sane person will vote them.No such impropriety can so far be attributed to IK so he is logical choice on merits
PPP will be very happy to see all this, PTI and PMLn are fighting but the winner will only be PPP. It seems that in the upcoming election PTI will snatch some of PMLn votes, and almost no votes from PPP vote bank, which means a hung Parliament and ultimately another PPP Govt (Nightmare for Pakistan)
I support PML N when i am anonymous on internet like on this post while i have to supports PTI when i am in public. But fortunate for PML N is i will be voting in dark room.
@Majid: Exactly, its like actions (PMLN Govt's reforms and projects) speak louder than words (IK's boasting and bragging)
I can't support PMLN since I need justice, cheap health care and free education not the lolly pop projects like laptop etc.
PTI had a constructive trend. PMLN had a defensive but constructive. IdontsupportPMLN does not make a sense infact for PTI.
Of Course PMLN Because We believe In Work We Believe In development & Ultimately prosperous & Peaceful country
I LIKE PML N
We definitely support PMLN. When given a chance in the 1990s to govern Pakistan, it more than delivered on all fronts. Major reforms took place in the banking sector, taxation, foreign exchange regulations, the telecom sector, import and export, aviation industry and other segments of business saw unprecedented growth. There was a major thrust on privatisation and deregulation. As a result of this, the economy boomed with a GDP growth of eight per cent in 1992 — the highest for any civilian government since independence. Although taxes were lowered for all segments, including the corporate sector, by 1999, Pakistan had achieved a tax-to-GDP ratio of 13.4 per cent, which has now fallen to just nine per cent and is a major stumbling block towards investment in social sectors as well as infrastructure projects. On the foreign relations front, major policy initiatives were undertaken, including the peace process with India, culminating in Indian prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s visit to Pakistan in February 1999 and the signing of the Lahore Declaration. If the Kargil adventure had not taken place, the Lahore Declaration would have enabled Pakistan and India to forge closer trade and economic relationships with millions on both sides of the border benefiting from the economic boom.
IdontSupportPMLN
The difference was huge enough to be ignored so ET has to acknowledge that #IdontSupportPMLN has an upper hand. It should have been mentioned that no PTI official has tweeted about the trend #IdontSupportPMLN. On the other hand the whole PMLN leadership has to woke up early in the morning to counter #IdontSupportPMLN and bring on top #WeSupportPMLN. Maryum Nawaz Shareef, Marvi Memon, Khurram Dastgir Khan and Anusha Rehman trying their best to bring the trend on top.
Its money vs passion PTI is passion
Its money vs passion
Pmln the most talked party on twitter today, they must be happy
I seriously I wont vote for PMLN again had enough
