The new building of the school has been constructed, but the students have not been shifted as yet.

SWABI:
A seventh grader, Adil, was killed and his classmate was injured when the boundary wall of their school collapsed in Hamlet area of the district on Saturday. Khan Muhammad, a teacher at the boys high school, told The Express Tribune that around 11am, Adil, and another student Junaid were sitting near the boundary wall when it suddenly collapsed, adding that both the students came under the debris and were seriously injured. “The school building is old and outdated,” Muhammad said, adding that the wall demolished after a truck loaded with bricks passed by. Khan added that the students were rushed towards the Civil Hospital Topi, but Adil died on the way. Junaid was given first aid and shifted to the district headquarters hospital. The new building of the school has been constructed, but the students have not been shifted as yet. “We don’t know how old this building is,” Muhammad said.
