District government official says that under his supervision, two tractors removed the encroachment.
TIMERGARA:
Following the Peshawar High Court’s orders, district government officials in Dir Lower removed illegal encroachments in graveyards in Damgatay area on Saturday. Abdullah, a district government official, said that under his supervision, two tractors removed the encroachment. He added that they also blocked a connecting road built by the residents of Damgatay, which was in the middle of the graveyard. “We put barricades on the road from both sides and closed it for all kind of traffic,” the official said. Abdullah added that they have also filed cases against 11 people who were hindering the process. “They were not letting officials remove the encroachments,” he added.
