Parental role: Religious leaders call for awareness

Religious leaders deliver special message in connection with World Aids Day which is being observed on December 1.

LAHORE:
Religious leaders urged parents on Friday to bridge the information gap between them and their children so that various diseases such as Aids can be controlled. Nazim Jamia Naeemia, Raghib Hussain Naeemi, and other leaders delivered a special message in connection with World Aids Day which is being observed on December 1. “It is generally regarded in our society that unethical behaviour leads to HIV/Aids although this is only one of the factors,” said Naeemi. “It is important that parents and teachers [impart] this knowledge to their children.”
