Fire in saddar: Family of victim to receive Rs1 million

KARACHI:
The State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan will give Rs1 million to the family of the 24-year-old man who fell off the organisation’s building in Saddar after it caught fire on Wednesday. Members of the corporation have expressed their sympathies to the family of the victim. The company’s chairman has allegedly ordered an internal inquiry into the fire incident. The committee has been asked to submit its findings within three days. The chairman has also asked the National Engineering Services, Pakistan, to investigate the issue and suggest how such incidents can be avoided in the future.
