Athletics: Punjab University clinch championship

Punjab University claimed first position in the 117th annual Inter Collegiate Boys Athletics Championship that concluded in Lahore yesterday. The event that had 12 colleges participating in it ended with a prize distribution ceremony at the New Campus Ground. Akhwan Science College, Barki stood second in the competition securing 110 points while Government College Jhang clinched 3rd with 73 points. Ali Raza of Punjab University was declared the championship’s best athlete.
