Despite Sui Southern's go-ahead, many CNG stations closed across country

Karachi sees long queues, traffic jams due to resumption of CNG in some areas.

QUETTA/PESHAWAR/LAHORE/KARACHI:
CNG is either rare or unavailable across the country, despite Sui Southern’s announcement of resuming CNG supply due to improvement in gas pressure.

The major arteries of Karachi once again faced traffic jams due to long car queues at CNG stations.

On the other hand, protesting CNG prices, more than 30% stations are closed in Sindh.

Meanwhile in Lahore, after a three-day blockage, obstinate CNG station owners have kept their stations closed due to their refusal to supply CNG at the given price.

The few open CNG stations are, like Karachi, entertaining long queues.

Faisalabad, Chiniot, Jhang and Toba Tek Singh are seeing resumption of CNG after a week-long closure.

In Quetta, the unannounced strike by CNG station owners has stations in major areas of the city closed down.

Around 70% CNG stations in Peshawar too are closed, leaving the people in distress.
