Bounced cheques: Man given 12 years in jail
The judge award three years imprisonment and impose a fine of Rs30,000 in each case.

Judicial magistrate Allah Yar Bhatti meted out twelve years imprisonment and a fine of Rs120,000 on a man convicted in four bounced cheque cases. According to petitioner Sara-Al-Imam Muhammad, an Egyptian citizen, Kashan Ashraf Malik, her business partner, had given her four cheque, a total value of Rs120,000, which bounced. The judge awarded three years imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs30,000 in each case.
