Militant Attack: Boys middle school destroyed in Hangu
The explosions demolished six classrooms in the building while partially damaging the rest.

A boys middle school in Chapri area of Bogha Sharif was destroyed on Tuesday, making it the second school targeted this week.
According to Hangu DSP Hussain Badshah, unidentified militants had planted the explosives on the boundary wall of a school which detonated around 2:30am. He added that there were two explosives used, each weighing three kilogrammes. The explosions demolished six classrooms in the building while partially damaging the rest.
It was initially a primary school, but due to the increase in the number of students, it was upgraded to a middle school. DSP Badshah said that militants had targeted the new construction. This was the third school destroyed in the area.
Residents told The Express Tribune that they had informed the police of suspicious activities in their area. Police had assured them that they would launch a search operation, but no action has been taken so far.
