Improving public education: About 19,000 teachers to be hired
The people who pass the test and are selected would get the appointment letter in January 2013.
KARACHI:
Education minister Pir Mazharul Haq said on Tuesday that as many as 19,000 teachers would be hired by the provincial education department.
He said the National Testing Service will set an exam which the job applicants will have to clear in order to be considered for the posts. The people who pass the test and are selected would get the appointment letter in January 2013.
The education minister said the government was trying to improve the quality of education at schools and huge budgetary allocations have been made to achieve this goal. He also said that the private sector plays a crucial role in the education sector of the country.
