Bail Granted: Sixteen suspected gamblers released

Liaqatabad police had raided various snooker clubs and claimed to have arrested the men ‘red handed.’

A judicial magistrate Mashad Raza Kazmi granted bail to sixteen men suspected of gambling in various snooker clubs against furnishing bail bonds of Rs30,000 each.

Liaqatabad Police produced 16 suspects, namely Shams Ali, Adnan, Shakil Ahmed, Akram Ali, Ahmed, Adnan Iqbal, Shafique, Amir, Sohail, Umar Munir, Irfan, Nadeem and Waqas Ahmed before the court. They were then released on bail. Earlier, Liaqatabad police had raided various snooker clubs and claimed to have arrested the men ‘red handed.’
