Balochistan Violence: Four dead in blasts, gun attack

Gun attacks and landmine explosions killed four people and wounded two others in the Bolan and Dera Bugti regions.

Gun attacks and landmine explosions killed four people and wounded two others in the Bolan and Dera Bugti regions on Monday.

According to Levies officials, a landmine exploded near a village in the Shoran area of the Bolan district, killing two persons and injuring one. Another man identified as Mohammad Ali was killed in a landmine blast in the Kurdan area of the Dera Bugti district.


According to a report, the man was riding a camel when the landmine blast occurred. On the same day, Liaquat Ali Abro, a resident of Bagh, was fatally shot by unidentified men. In a separate incident in the same Bagh area, Sagar Kumar, a Hindu trader, was wounded by armed men when he resisted a snatching attempt.

The attackers took away his motorcycle and fled.
