Pakistani airlines to facilitate travel of amnesty seekers from UAE
Ambassador Khan appeals to Pakistanis in UAE to seize this offer in order to avoid deportation.

The Ambassador of Pakistan in UAE Jamil Ahmed Khan announced on Monday that arrangements are being made at the embassy to grant maximum facilitation for amnesty seekers of Pakistani descent for a limited time only.
Khan announced this during a meeting in Abu Dhabi, addressing the country heads of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Shaheen Air and representatives from United Bank Limited (UBL) and Habib Bank Limited. He advised the heads of Pakistani airlines in the UAE to create reservation desks at the embassy to assist the repatriating community.
The ambassador also requested the airlines to offer favorable quotes to the stranded Pakistanis who will be availing the amnesty scheme from December 3, 2012 to Febraury 3, 2013.
For the convenience of the outgoing Pakistanis, Ambassador Khan advised the airlines to also consider operating their flights to Quetta and Pungjur in addition to Karachi, Islamabad, and Peshawar.
He also appealed to Pakistanis living in UAE to seize this opportunity in order to avoid facing strict legal action as per UAE immigration laws.
