Ashura message: Khosa wants people to resist tyranny
Says today need for learning a lesson from martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain (ra) even greater.

Governor Sardar Latif Khan Khosa has said the supreme sacrifice offered by Hazrat Imam Hussain (ra) teaches people that tyranny, oppression and falsehood must be resisted. In his message on the Yaum-i-Ashur, he said Hazrat Imam Hussain (ra) sacrificed his and his family’s lives for the cause of truth and justice and to resist oppression. “As we pay homage to the great martyrs of Karbala, we must also look inward and do some soul-searching,” he said. He said that today the need for learning a lesson from the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain (ra) was even greater because tyranny and oppression continued to stalk the land. “We should resolve never to submit to tyranny and injustice,” he said.
