Bomb blast: Policeman, two others injured
Approximately one kilogramme of explosive were used in the bomb.

Three people including an Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) official were injured when a bomb planted on a bicycle on Swabi-Mardan Road exploded on Friday. “Police personnel retruned to their van after having filled air in the tyres of the vehicle,” said SHO Izhar Khan of City Police. “The bomb detonated soon after our van passed through the area.” ATS constable Salam was injured along with a cobbler, Abdul Wahab, who was sitting nearby and a pedestrian, Ashiq. Khan further added that the van had been partially damaged along with a car and another bicycle parked nearby. Approximately one kilogramme of explosive were used in the bomb.
