Ashraf removes Mehar from federal minister post
Ghous Bux Mehar was appointed federal minister for privatisation.
ISLAMABAD:
Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf on Friday de-notified the Federal Minister for Privatisation, Express News reported.
Ghous Bux Mehar was appointed from Sindh on a Pakistan Muslim League – Quaid (PML-Q) ticket.
While the government retracted his notification for federal minister, Mehar said that he had resigned himself.
According to sources, he was unhappy with the PPP and PML-Q alliance and that is why he contacted the Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Muslim League – Functional (PML-F) too.
Mehar’s son Shaheryar Mehar earlier left his seat in the Sindh Cabinet and now sits in the opposition.
