Jon Bon Jovi speaks about daughter’s overdose and arrest
“This tragedy was something that I had to face too, so we’ll get through it,” Bon Jovi says.
Jon Bon Jovi has finally spoken up regarding his 19-year-old daughter’s incident where she was found overdosed on heroin and arrested for possession. Although the charges were later dropped, the father initially decided to keep silent on the matter, according to the Huffington Post.
The 50-year-old rocker spoke to Fox11 and said: “Life goes on, things happen.” His daughter Stephanie, who is a student at Hamilton College, is now recovering from the overdose but the singer says that it’s something he knows his family will be able to face together.
“This tragedy was something that I had to face too, so we’ll get through it,” he added.
Stephanie is the eldest of his four children. On November 14, the police were called to her dorm room where she was found unconscious and when authorities searched the room, small quantities of heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia were discovered.
