Indonesian scientists: Pakistan offers training facilities

Bilateral cooperation will boost the agricultural sector in both countries, says Indonesian minister.

ISLAMABAD:
Pakistan has offered training facilities to Indonesian scientists in professional agricultural water management, soil and water quality analysis. Minister for Agriculture Moazzam Ali Khan Jatoi offered the training opportunities during a meeting with his Indonesian counterpart here on Wednesday. In the meeting, Jatoi said that Pakistan can benefit from Indonesia’s experience in coconut and oil palm management. He added that Pakistan would also like to share its experiences, while learning from Indonesia’s experience in coffee, tropical fruit and vegetable farming. During the meeting, the Indonesian minister expressed his willingness to cooperate in this regard, and said that bilateral cooperation will boost the agricultural sector in both countries.
