Football: Pakistan to tour Sri Lanka in December

PFF had sent a request to different countries for the bi-lateral series six months ago.

KARACHI:
Pakistan’s national football team will head to Sri Lanka next month following a disappointing tour of Singapore where they lost both friendly matches. According to the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF), the team will return to Lahore on November 22 and prepare for the Sri Lanka tour before flying out to Colombo on December 1. “It will be a two-match series,” the official told The Express Tribune. “Singapore has been a tough tour but in order to provide the team with international matches, we have decided to go to Sri Lanka.” The official said that the PFF had sent a request to different countries for the bi-lateral series six months ago and only Sri Lanka had made themselves available for next month and the PFF have accepted their invitation.
