Police register FIR 13 days later

Cantt police register FIR thirteen days after the killing of two men belonging to the Dawoodi Bohra community.

Thirteen days after the killing of two men belonging to the Dawoodi Bohra community, the Cantt police have regsitered an FIR for the incident.



Mustafa Ali, 33, and Ali Asghar, 45, were shot dead on November 6 by unidentified armed men. The victims were working inside their shop at Risala Road. Mustafa’s father, Shaukat alias Jozar Bohri, nominated two unidentified suspects under sections 302 and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code and Section 6/7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act.

In another incident on November 3, 42-year-old Murtaza and 60-year-old Shabbir were killed near the Cantt police station. An FIR for this incident was also registered over a week later. SHO Abdul Razzak said the police had detained a man who might have killed Murtaza, but he was let go when the family nominated unidentified people in the FIR.
