Two people were killed in targeted attacks in Karachi, while police and Rangers rounded up more than 20 suspects from across the city, Express News reported Sunday.
One person was gunned down in Hub Chowki in a firing incident, while another was killed in the Manghopir area.
Police arrested target killer Asghar Ali from Sher Shah and seized a TT pistol and a hand grenade. The police revealed that Ali was wanted in seven cases of target killing
Nineteen other suspects were arrested from different parts of the city.
The past 10 days in Karachi have been the deadliest with around 80 people killed, according to police records.
Rangers and police claim to have been carrying out operations in various areas and arresting several suspects.
