Freedom of information: Shehri-CBE wants transparency
CBE general secretary Alibhai says they have played an important role in advocating for transparency in goverment.

Shehri-Citizens for a Better Environment (CBE) have played an important role in advocating for transparency in the government and in informing people about their rights, said the organisation’s general secretary Amber Alibhai.
She was speaking at a workshop on the ‘Right to Information’ organised by Shehri- CBE on Thursday.
Another speaker, Sameer Hamid Dodhy, explained the Freedom of Information Ordinance, which was introduced in 2002, and explained the process by which citizens could apply for information.
