Administrative proceedings: One civil judge sacked, another issued notice
13 AD&SJs and 47 D&SJs confirmed.

An administrative committee headed by the chief justice of the Lahore High Court terminated the employment of Faisalabad civil judge Kalsoom Mustafa on Thursday.
The committee also issued a final show cause notice for imposition of penalty of removal from service to Lahore civil judge Gulzar Hussain. The committee did, however, abate the disciplinary proceedings against District & Sessions Judge (D&SJ) (retired) Javed Nawaz Chaudhary.
The committee also ordered disciplinary proceedings against D&SJ Muhammad Amjad Pervez, Khanewal Additional District and Session Judge (AD&SJ) Khizar Hayat Gondal and Nankana Sahib civil judge Muzaffar Hussain.
The committee has deferred the cases of civil judges Syed Ali Waqas Bukhari and Sherbaz Khan for confirmation and allowed them a fifth (special) chance to clear their examination. The committee also confirmed the services of thirteen AD&SJs and 498 civil judges-cum-judicial magistrates. The AD&SJs include Muhammad Akram, Waseemur Rehman Khan Khakwani, Muhammad Yar Gondal, Amjad Nazir Chaudhry, Muhammad Naveed Iqbal, Muhammad Asghar Khan, Muhammad Shabir, Syed Dawar Zafar Ali, Naseem Ahmad Virk, Asad Ali, Tariq Mahmood Bajwa, Tariq Javed and Nasir Hussain.
