Balochistan Govt: ‘Vote of confidence unconstitutional’

PPP Balochistan chapter president Mir Sadiq Umrani said Balochistan Assembly members’ vote of confidence in Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani has no constitutional status.
Talking to The Express Tribune on Wednesday, he maintained that the provincial government had lost its constitutional status following the Supreme Court’s interim order.
Umrani said Balochistan Assembly Speaker adopted a constitutional approach and consulted the governor before calling in the assembly session.
