Discussion: Citizen education and gender issues
Delegation members share their views regarding content and education methodologies for citizens.
Ethnic, religious, political and cultural barriers are blurred so much that their impact on societies has merged into one of the significant realities of social life.
This was said by Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) English Department Chairperson Dr Sarwat Rasul while addressing a session on citizen education and gender issues on Wednesday. She also discussed the role of FJWU to support localised delivery of citizenship, policy and curriculum.
The event was organised by FJWU in collaboration with the British Council, according to a press release issued by the university.
The delegation members shared their views regarding content and education methodologies for citizens, particular its cultural characteristics.
Leicester University Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Douglas Tallack also spoke at the event.
