World Diabetes Day: ‘0.37m people in RY Khan are diabetics’

“Of the 4.2 million people in the Rahim Yar Khan district, 378,000 million are diabetic,” Dr Muhammad Mohsin Raza Khan, an expert in diabetes and in charge of the Diabetic Clinic at the Shaikh Zayed Hospital, said on Wednesday.
He was addressing a seminar organised by Health Department on the World Diabetes Day. Dr Khan said that excessive consumption of fast food, lack of exercise and mental tension were major causes of diabetes.
