Bonanza launches flagship store at Dolmen City Mall

The brand has 56 stores across Pakistan.

KARACHI:

The renowned textile house Bonanza finally made its way to Dolmen City Mall, Clifton on Saturday evening, with the launch of its flagship store on the first level of the mall. With its wooden flooring and rustic, contemporary look, the 4,200 square feet store was a pleasing sight for everyone.

At the launch event, the current Director of Bonanza Hanif Bilwani explained the need to open a store at Dolmen City Mall even though the brand has outlets at Park Towers and Zamzama. “Like all exclusive brands which are placed here, I believe it would be more comfortable for our clients to come here,” he said. “Dolmen City Mall is currently the biggest mall of Pakistan; every other household brand has their presence here,” he added.

After around 40 years into its men’s collection and the third year in women’s apparel, the store has recently introduced a women’s shawl collection. “This is a new item that we have introduced. Shawls are Pakistani tradition and we certainly want the women of the country to enjoy wearing these,” said Bilwani.

Today, the brand has 56 stores all across Pakistan. With the launch of this flagship store being the 10th one in Karachi, Bilwani said he has no plans to stop. “By the end of 2013, there will be 70 more stores across Pakistan. We plan to open an outlet in Dubai and Canada in the same year,” said Hanif.

The launch event featured model Saima Azhar, Sana Sarfaraz, Abeer, Sehrish, Eqra, Mahi, Danya, Noor, Nida Bangesh, Mubashira, Abbas Jaffri, Shahzad Noor and Rizwan Jaffri who walked the ramp donning Bonanza’s winter collection.
